The Yellow Brick Road Project, with the help of our amazing donors and sponsors, now hosts 2 international family meetings every year that brings together families, clinicians and researchers from around the globe!
2023 US Family Meeting- Jacksonville, FL
The 2023 US Family Meeting was again held in Jacksonville, FL at the Ponte Vedra Lodge & Club. We hosted 21 families and had great connections, and research collection and updates.
2023 European Family Meeting- Chantilly, France
In 2023, we held our inaugural European Family Meeting in Chantilly, France at the Hotel Mecure where 22 families were brought together from several countries around the globe.
2022 US Family Meeting- Jacksonville, FL
The 2022 US Family Meeting was held in Jacksonville, FL at the Ponte Vedra Lodge & Club. We returned to meeting in person after having virtual conferences in 2020 and 2021.
2020 Family Conference- Virtual
The 2020 International Family Meeting was held virtually in July 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The virtual meeting was a huge success, bringing together 25+ families from around the globe - USA, Canada, UK, Israel, France, Australia, Spain. Dr. Bain and her team were able to adapt to the challenges and conduct virtual assessments, allowing the critical evaluations for the Natural History Study to continue. We also, once again, heard from amazing speakers who provided insight into current and future research into HNRNPH2 genetic variations.
2019 Family Meeting- New York, NY
The 2019 International Family Meeting was held in July 2019 at the LaGuardia Plaza Hotel in New York City and brought together over 20 families from around the globe - USA, Canada, Brazil, UK, Israel, even as far as Australia! Critical evaluations once again took place to continue contributing to the Natural History Study and amazing speakers provided insight into current and future research into HNRNPH2 genetic variations. 2018 HNRNPH2 Family Meeting- White Plains, NY
The 2018 International Family Meeting was held in July 2018 at the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain in White Plains, NY. This event was amazing in furthering our mission to bring together families, researchers, and clinicians from around the world. Many families were able to meet for the first time and critical evaluations took place to contribute to the Natural History Study. View photo gallery
